Welcome back! My name is Ms. Felix and this is my 15th year teaching for the Garvey School District. I was born and raised in the city of Rosemead. I attended St. Anthony’s Elementary and Ramona Convent High School. I graduated from UCLA and have a Masters in Education. I have taught first, fifth, and sixth grade, however most of my years teaching have been spent in fourth grade. Many members of my family, including my husband, are involved in education. Education has always been an important part of my life. I am delighted to have the honor and privilege to work alongside you and your child this year. As I begin my 15th year of teaching I am excited to implement new ideas, knowledge, and most importantly my love for learning to my new fourth grade students. I am certain with your support and your child’s efforts, we will have a very successful year. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you in person. There are many exciting adventures and learning experiences that we have planned for the year. Please feel free to come and see or contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns about what is going on in our classroom or in regards to your child’s academic success.
