Uniforms and Dress Code

Dress Standards 

Bitely School has a mandatory uniform policy. Upon meeting with the principal, waivers are available to parents of students with a valid reason for not wearing uniforms.

The District dress code policy applies to all students in, or out of, uniform. The policy prohibits overly baggy clothing, clothing associated with gangs and clothing with inappropriate graphics or slogans. Shorts above finger tip length, spaghetti strapped tops, visible underwear and sandals are also prohibited.

Colors Shirts: Navy Blue, White, Light Blue 
Pants: Navy Blue
Uniforms Monday through Friday 
Spirit Day Every Friday, students can show their school spirit by wearing Bitely t-shirts or a blue shirt 
Sweaters & Sweatshirts  Must be in school colors. Blue Bitely sweatshirt can be worn any day of the week. 
Jackets  Any color is O.K. 
Progressive Discipline  An incentive program will be used to encourage students to wear uniforms 
Opting Out  Those parents opposed to the mandatory uniform policy may complete and submit the District Uniform Exemption form. (copies available in the Bitely office). A conference with the Principal will be scheduled at which time the exemption will be reviewed.
