Hello, my name is Ms. Muro. I teach Second grade in Room 3.  I am a  product of the Garvey School District, attending Williams and Garvey school.  I graduated from Cal State L.A. and hold a Masters in Reading Curriculum and Instruction.  I also am a Certified Reading Specialist.

I look forward to meeting my new students and parents and working together to have a great year!! I expect my students to try their very best to learn as many new concepts in Second Grade. Students are expected to fully participate in all core curriculum including Art, Music, Drama and Character Education. Goals can be accomplished with the child, the parent and school working together. Parents are expected to to provide their child a place and time in which to do their homework and read for at least 20 minutes everyday!!
